I am a primary school teacher with over 20 years’ experience working across a wide range of educational settings, including SET, mainstream, HSCL, special class teaching and SENCO roles. I have completed extensive training in supporting students with additional needs and have worked with schools nationwide to plan whole-school approaches to the Continuum of Support and to develop effective provision for students with diverse learning needs within their settings.

I am deeply committed to the meaningful impact that informed, compassionate teaching can have on learners with additional needs. My previous experience includes eight years with the Dyslexia Association of Ireland, tutoring on the UCD SNA course, and lecturing on the Inclusion and Diversity module for PME students in Hibernia College. I received the IATSE Testimonial and Award for Excellence in Support Teaching (2017) and the Louise Madigan Bursary for Education Research (2021). I also served on the Executive Committee of ILSA.
